This large, solid wood wardrobe can be fitted or free standing. It is Victorian or Edwardian and was restored in the 1950′s, when the gold work was hand painted. The bevelled mirror and the brass handles are original. The front is in good condition except for minor marks commensurate with its age. It has been used as a fitted unit which we recently removed to add a bathroom. The sides and back have condition issues which require restoration ,if it is to be free standing ,as it was originally.The sides were not restored. Some pieces are missing.There is a split in the backing in one corner. A handy person is needed to restore this high quality piece.The height is 7ft 2ins. The width is 6ft 2ins. The depth is 21ins. It is heavy but divides into 4 parts for transportation. It is for collection only.We are happy to forward more photos. Cash on collection is preferred. A matching dressing table is available. It has a nice simple decorative trim with roundels and a crisp coving trim around the top.
